Terms of service

Last updated: 3 August 2026

OVERVIEW

This website is operated by Krigerheim. Throughout these Terms of Service, the terms “Krigerheim”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the business operating this website and supplying products purchased through it.

Krigerheim is a UK-based independent retailer offering emergency-preparedness, first-aid, outdoor, vehicle-safety and related products. Some products are held in UK stock and dispatched directly by Krigerheim. Other products form part of our Global Range and are dispatched by international fulfilment partners.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that enables us to offer products and services to you.

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, Returns and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy and any other policies referred to in them, govern your use of this website and purchases made through it.

Please read these Terms carefully before using the website or placing an order.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or replaces any rights that you have under applicable consumer law.

SECTION 1 – ABOUT US AND CONTACT DETAILS

Krigerheim is operated as a sole-trader business in the United Kingdom.

Our contact details are set out in Section 23 of these Terms and on our Contact Information page.

You may contact us about an order, product, complaint or these Terms by emailing:

info@krigerheim.co.uk

SECTION 2 – WEBSITE ACCESS AND CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS

You may use this website only for lawful purposes.

You do not normally need to create an account to browse the website or place an order. Where you create or use an account, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and current information
• Keeping your account password and login details secure
• Preventing unauthorised access to your account
• Informing us promptly if you suspect unauthorised activity

You must not transfer, sell or make your customer account available to another person without our permission.

We may suspend or restrict access to an account where we reasonably believe that it has been used fraudulently, unlawfully or in breach of these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order through this website. If you are under 18, an order must be placed by a parent or legal guardian.

SECTION 3 – AGE-RESTRICTED PRODUCTS

Certain products may contain blades, cutting tools or other items that are subject to age restrictions.

By ordering an age-restricted product, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old
• The information supplied during checkout is accurate
• You consent to any reasonable age-verification checks
• The product will be received by an adult where age-verified delivery is required
• You will use and store the product lawfully and responsibly

We may request evidence of age, use an age-verification service, restrict available delivery methods or cancel an order where we cannot complete the required verification.

An age-restricted product must not be purchased on behalf of a person who is under the applicable legal age.

Acceptance of an order does not override any legal restriction on the sale, possession, delivery or use of a product.

SECTION 4 – PRODUCT INFORMATION

We take reasonable care to ensure that product titles, descriptions, photographs, specifications, prices and availability information are accurate.

However:

• Colours may appear differently depending on your screen and device settings
• Product packaging may be updated by a manufacturer or supplier
• Minor cosmetic details may vary without changing the product’s principal function
• Measurements and weights described as approximate may be subject to reasonable manufacturing tolerances
• Accessories shown for illustration are not included unless they are listed in the product description

The product description and contents list applicable at the time of your order form part of the contract between you and Krigerheim.

We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.

We may correct product information, update specifications, limit quantities or withdraw products from sale at any time. Changes will not retrospectively reduce your rights in relation to an order that we have already accepted.

SECTION 5 – FIRST-AID, MEDICAL AND EMERGENCY-PREPAREDNESS PRODUCTS

Our first-aid, trauma, survival and emergency-preparedness products are supplied as equipment and general preparedness products.

They are not a substitute for:

• Professional medical advice
• Appropriate first-aid or emergency-response training
• Emergency services
• Diagnosis or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional

Specialised items, including tourniquets, airway products, chest seals, haemostatic products and similar equipment, should be used only by people with appropriate knowledge or training and in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

Always contact the emergency services where an injury, illness or situation requires urgent professional assistance.

You are responsible for inspecting products before use, following the instructions provided, monitoring applicable expiry dates and replacing used, damaged, contaminated or expired components.

SECTION 6 – PLACING AN ORDER

When you submit an order through the website, you make an offer to purchase the products listed in your order.

After submission, you will normally receive an automated order acknowledgement. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

A contract is formed when we:

• Send you a dispatch confirmation; or
• Otherwise expressly confirm that your order has been accepted.

We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch for legitimate reasons, including:

• A product being unavailable
• A pricing or product-information error
• Failure or reversal of payment
• Suspected fraud or unauthorised payment
• Failure to complete an age-verification check
• Delivery being unavailable to the supplied address
• A legal or regulatory restriction
• An order quantity suggesting unauthorised commercial resale
• Circumstances outside our reasonable control

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled product and any associated delivery charge.

Please check your order, delivery address and contact information carefully before submitting it.

SECTION 7 – ORDER CHANGES AND CANCELLATION BEFORE DISPATCH

We begin processing orders promptly.

Contact us as soon as possible at info@krigerheim.co.uk if you wish to change or cancel an order.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request, but we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or cancelled after fulfilment or dispatch has begun.

This does not affect your statutory cancellation rights or your rights under our Returns and Refund Policy.

SECTION 8 – PRICES, TAXES AND PAYMENT

Product prices are shown in the currency selected on the website.

The amount payable to Krigerheim, including any delivery charge and any taxes that we are required to collect, will be displayed before you submit your order.

We are entitled to change prices at any time, but a price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted.

You must provide complete and accurate billing and payment information. You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.

Payment may be processed by Shopify Payments, PayPal or another payment provider shown at checkout. The payment provider may process your information under its own terms and privacy policy.

For deliveries outside the United Kingdom, local customs duties, import taxes, handling fees or similar charges may apply. Unless the checkout expressly states that such charges have been collected, they may be payable by the recipient to the relevant authority or delivery provider.

We are not responsible for currency-conversion charges or overseas transaction fees imposed independently by your bank or payment provider.

SECTION 9 – PRICING AND INFORMATION ERRORS

We take reasonable steps to prevent pricing and product-information errors.

If we identify an obvious error before dispatch, we may:

• Contact you and ask whether you wish to proceed using the correct information or price; or
• Cancel the affected item and issue a full refund.

We will not increase the price of an accepted order without your agreement.

If an error is not obvious and we have accepted and dispatched the order, your rights will be determined by the applicable contract and consumer law.

SECTION 10 – UK DISPATCH AND GLOBAL RANGE PRODUCTS

Products are divided into two principal fulfilment groups.

UK Dispatch

UK Dispatch products are held in UK stock and dispatched directly by Krigerheim.

The usual estimated Royal Mail delivery period is 3–5 working days unless a different estimate is displayed on the product page or at checkout.

Global Range

Global Range products are dispatched directly by one of our international fulfilment partners.

The usual estimated delivery period is 7–28 working days unless a different estimate is displayed on the product page or at checkout.

Orders containing products from different fulfilment locations may:

• Arrive in separate parcels
• Be dispatched on different dates
• Use different carriers
• Have different tracking numbers
• Arrive at different times

The applicable fulfilment method and estimated delivery period are shown on the relevant product page.

SECTION 11 – DELIVERY

Delivery dates and periods shown on the website are estimates unless we expressly agree to a guaranteed delivery date.

We will take reasonable steps to deliver within the stated period. Delays may occasionally occur because of carrier disruption, customs processing, severe weather, industrial action, supplier disruption or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Where a material delay occurs, we will provide available information and, where required by law, give you an appropriate opportunity to cancel.

You are responsible for supplying a complete and accurate delivery address.

If a parcel cannot be delivered because the address supplied was incorrect or incomplete, we may charge reasonable additional delivery costs before resending it.

You must not deliberately arrange delivery of an age-restricted product to an unattended location or to a person below the required age.

Ownership of the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full.

Risk of loss or damage remains with Krigerheim until the goods come into the physical possession of:

• You; or
• A person identified by you to receive them.

An exception may apply where you independently appoint a carrier that was not offered by us as a delivery option.

SECTION 12 – LOST, DAMAGED OR MISSING DELIVERIES

Please contact us promptly if:

• A parcel has not arrived within the expected delivery period
• Tracking shows delivery but you have not received the parcel
• A parcel arrives visibly damaged
• Products or components are missing
• You receive the wrong product

We may ask for photographs, delivery information or confirmation of your address so that we can investigate with the carrier or fulfilment partner.

You should not discard damaged packaging or products until we confirm whether they are required for the investigation.

Your statutory rights are not affected by a carrier investigation.

SECTION 13 – RETURNS, REFUNDS AND STATUTORY RIGHTS

Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Returns and Refund Policy.

Our voluntary 30-day return policy is provided in addition to your statutory rights.

For most goods purchased online, UK consumers may cancel without giving a reason by notifying us within the applicable statutory cancellation period.

Goods supplied to consumers must be:

• Of satisfactory quality
• Fit for any particular purpose made known to us
• As described
• Supplied in accordance with other applicable statutory requirements

Where goods are defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied or not as described, you may be entitled to remedies including repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Nothing in these Terms or our policies restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

SECTION 14 – AVAILABILITY AND QUANTITY LIMITS

All products are subject to availability.

Adding a product to your basket does not reserve it.

We may reasonably limit the quantity of a product available to one person, household, order, payment method or delivery address.

We may cancel or restrict orders that appear to involve:

• Fraudulent activity
• Unauthorised resale
• Automated purchasing
• Stock manipulation
• Misuse of promotions
• Circumvention of product or territorial restrictions

Where we cancel a paid order, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled goods.

SECTION 15 – PROMOTIONS AND DISCOUNT CODES

Discount codes and promotional offers may be subject to separate conditions.

Unless otherwise stated:

• A discount code cannot be exchanged for cash
• Only one discount code may be used per order
• A discount cannot be applied retrospectively
• A promotion may exclude specified products or collections
• A promotion may have a minimum order value
• A promotion may be withdrawn or amended before an order is placed

We may reject or cancel the use of a discount where it has been obtained, shared or used fraudulently or contrary to its stated conditions.

Any cancellation will not affect statutory consumer rights.

SECTION 16 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website and its original content, including text, graphics, branding, logos, layout, photographs, product-description content and other material created by or licensed to Krigerheim, are protected by applicable copyright, trademark and intellectual-property laws.

You may access and use the website for your personal, lawful and non-commercial use.

Without our prior written permission, you must not:

• Reproduce substantial website content
• Republish our product descriptions or photography
• Modify or create derivative works from protected content
• Use Krigerheim branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation
• Sell, license or commercially exploit website content
• Remove copyright, trademark or ownership notices

This section does not restrict lawful quotation, review, reporting, linking or any other use permitted by law.

Third-party names, trademarks and product images remain the property of their respective owners.

SECTION 17 – CUSTOMER REVIEWS AND OTHER SUBMISSIONS

You may submit reviews, comments, photographs or other material where the website permits this.

You confirm that material submitted by you:

• Is accurate and based on your genuine experience
• Does not infringe another person’s rights
• Is not defamatory, threatening, discriminatory, obscene or unlawful
• Does not contain confidential information
• Does not contain malware, advertising or misleading links
• Discloses any incentive, free product or compensation connected with the submission

You retain ownership of your original material.

By submitting material for publication, you grant Krigerheim a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, display, adapt and use it in connection with operating and promoting the business and website.

We may moderate, reject or remove submissions where reasonably necessary, but we are not obliged to publish or retain every submission.

We will not knowingly publish a review in a misleading way or conceal that a review was incentivised where disclosure is required.

SECTION 18 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

The website may include links to third-party websites and access to services supplied by third parties, including:

• Shopify
• Payment providers
• Delivery carriers
• Order-tracking services
• Review platforms
• Social-media platforms
• Customer-support tools

A third-party website or service may be governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

We are not responsible for independent third-party content, availability or conduct merely because the website contains a link to it.

This does not exclude responsibility where Krigerheim selected, instructed or used a third party in fulfilling an obligation owed to you.

SECTION 19 – SHOPIFY

Our store is hosted by Shopify.

Shopify provides the ecommerce infrastructure used to display products, process orders and support parts of the checkout process.

The contract for products purchased from this store is between you and Krigerheim. Shopify is not the seller of Krigerheim products.

Your use of certain Shopify services may also be subject to Shopify’s terms and privacy information.

Nothing in this section restricts any rights or claims that cannot legally be restricted.

SECTION 20 – PRIVACY AND COOKIES

We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our Privacy Policy explains:

• What information we collect
• Why we use it
• The lawful bases on which it is processed
• Who it may be shared with
• How long it may be retained
• Your data-protection rights
• How to contact us about personal information

Shopify and other service providers may process information on our behalf, including outside the United Kingdom, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.

Our use of cookies and similar technologies is explained through our cookie notice and privacy information.

SECTION 21 – PROHIBITED USES

You must not use the website:

• For an unlawful or fraudulent purpose
• To infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights
• To submit false or misleading information
• To impersonate another person or business
• To harass, threaten or abuse another person
• To distribute viruses, malware or harmful code
• To interfere with the website’s security or operation
• To gain unauthorised access to an account, system or data
• To conduct payment fraud or identity theft
• To scrape or extract website content in a way that damages, overloads or disrupts the service
• To circumvent technical, geographic, age or purchasing restrictions
• To misuse promotions, reviews, accounts or checkout facilities

Legitimate search-engine indexing, accessibility tools and ordinary personal browsing are not prohibited.

We may restrict access where we reasonably believe that these rules have been breached.

SECTION 22 – WEBSITE AVAILABILITY AND LIABILITY

We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.

We may temporarily suspend or modify part of the website for maintenance, security, legal, operational or technical reasons.

We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for loss or damage that:

• Was not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed
• Was caused by inaccurate information supplied by you
• Was caused by your unlawful or unreasonable use of a product
• Results from failing to follow supplied instructions or warnings
• Results from normal wear, misuse, unauthorised modification or improper storage
• Was caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control

Products purchased through this website are intended primarily for personal and household use. We are not responsible for commercial losses such as loss of profit, revenue, business opportunity or business interruption where you purchase as a consumer.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability for:

• Death or personal injury caused by negligence
• Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• Defective products where liability cannot lawfully be excluded
• Breach of statutory consumer rights
• Any other liability that cannot be excluded or restricted by law

SECTION 23 – BUSINESS INFORMATION AND CONTACT DETAILS

Trade name: Krigerheim

Legal status: Sole trader

Email: info@krigerheim.co.uk

Website: krigerheim.co.uk

Please include your order number when contacting us about a purchase.

SECTION 24 – COMPLAINTS

Contact us at info@krigerheim.co.uk if you have a complaint.

Please provide:

• Your name
• Your order number, where applicable
• A clear description of the issue
• Any relevant photographs or supporting information
• The remedy you are requesting

We will acknowledge and investigate complaints as soon as reasonably possible.

Nothing in this section affects your right to seek independent advice, contact an appropriate consumer-protection body or pursue any other legal remedy.

SECTION 25 – EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL

We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by an event outside our reasonable control, such as:

• Severe weather or natural disaster
• War, civil disturbance or terrorism
• Epidemic or public-health restriction
• Industrial action
• Transport or carrier disruption
• Customs interruption
• Failure of essential telecommunications or payment infrastructure
• Government action, trade restriction or legal prohibition
• Major supplier disruption that could not reasonably have been avoided

We will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect of the event and resume performance where possible.

Where a substantial delay occurs, any rights you have to cancel and receive a refund remain unaffected.

SECTION 26 – TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION OF WEBSITE ACCESS

We may suspend or terminate your access to the website where you materially breach these Terms, use the website unlawfully or create a security risk.

Termination of website access does not:

• Cancel an accepted order unless there is a lawful basis to cancel it
• Remove either party’s accrued rights
• Affect provisions intended to continue after termination
• Restrict statutory consumer rights

SECTION 27 – SEVERABILITY

If any part of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed only to the minimum extent necessary.

The remainder of the Terms will continue in effect.

SECTION 28 – WAIVER

If we delay or fail to enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.

A waiver will apply only where it is expressly given and only in relation to the specific circumstances concerned.

SECTION 29 – TRANSFER OF RIGHTS

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation where this does not reduce your rights or protections.

We will notify you where such a transfer materially affects you.

You may transfer your rights where permitted by law or with our written agreement.

SECTION 30 – GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms and contracts formed through this website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

If you live in England or Wales, legal proceedings may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.

If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or another country, you may also be entitled to bring proceedings in the courts of the jurisdiction in which you live where mandatory consumer law allows this.

Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.

SECTION 31 – CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in:

• The law or regulatory guidance
• Our products or fulfilment methods
• Website features
• Payment or delivery services
• Our business practices

The current version will be published on this page with its revision date.

The Terms in force when we accept your order will normally govern that purchase. A later change will not retrospectively alter an existing contract unless required by law or agreed with you.

SECTION 32 – ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms and the policies expressly incorporated into them form the agreement between you and Krigerheim concerning use of the website and any order placed through it.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and product-specific information shown before you place an order, the product-specific information will apply to that order where it provides a clearer or more specific term.

Nothing in this section limits liability for fraud or prevents reliance on statements that legally form part of the contract.

SECTION 33 – CONTACT

Questions about these Terms of Service should be sent to:
